Scope
Being clear about this saves everyone a phone call. PSS caregivers are not nurses, and there are tasks that fall outside what we are licensed to provide.
Wound care, injections, IV therapy, and catheter management require a licensed nurse. We can refer you to a home health agency.
Our caregivers provide reminders and can hand a client their pill organizer, but they do not dispense or administer medication.
We don't provide non-emergency medical transportation. Coverage for this is usually separate — ask us and we'll point you to it.
Send a referral and we'll come back to you the same business day with a yes or no on coverage.
